Conrad’s passion has always been the hospitality industry. After completing his studies, he started his career as Director of Food and Beverage. He quickly escalated to Director of Sales & Marketing, and finally as Global Account Director for a major hotel chain. Throughout the years, customer service has been the cornerstone that has defined his success upon. He has served as board of director for MPI and PCMA and has also been a part of several advisory boards for large hotel chains. His experience as both a hotelier and event planner has earned him the respect of his peers.
After monre than 20 years, with the help of his hand-picked team, Conrad has seen HMI grow from its humble beginnings to being a key industry player internationally.

Luc holds a B.A.A. in administration, an M.B.A., a certificate in business law, and is holds a certification in project management. With over 18 years in the events and media industry, Luc has excelled in customer relations by displaying an immaculate attention to detail while respecting budgetary constraints. His client expertise and rigor are only limited by what he demands of himself. Luc’s openness to the world, and its different cultures, is what truly makes him an added value to the HMI team.

Sophie began her career in the hospitality industry at the age of 18. She then pursued a path in sales management for corporate groups, quickly advancing to the role of Director of Sales. Always passionate about client relationships and creating outstanding experiences, she combines expertise, enthusiasm, and an unfailing sense of service. A lover of travel, gastronomy, and music, Sophie has built a career path that allows her to fully thrive in the industry.

Loïc completed his studies in Project Management, with specialization in the hospitality industry at the Conservatoire Nationale des Arts et Métiers (CNAM). After his studies, Loïc worked in France for Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group as Group Coordinator and Business Development Manager. He then decided to move to Montreal where he began a career with HMI as Sales & Events Coordinator.

A graduate of ITHQ, she went on to complete a bachelor’s degree in international hospitality management at UQAM.
Fully bilingual, motivated by new challenges, and driven by the creation of authentic experiences focused on listening to and meeting each client’s needs.
Curious by nature and passionate about discovering new cultures, she has already explored several countries and continues to pursue her goal of experiencing many more.

Geneva Team
In 2016, HMI wanted to expand to the European market and clientele, thus creating their office in Geneva, Switzerland. The different professional backgrounds of the Geneva team members allows HMI to offer an outstanding full service to their clients.
Laurent obtained his university degree in Hospitality Management from l’Institut Univeria in Grenoble, France. After completing his degree, he moved to Switzerland and pursued his hospitality career with several upscale hotels. Having worked in every hotel department, he most recently served as Chef Concierge with the Movenpick Hotel in Geneva and became one of the youngest chef concierges in Switzerland. His extensive frontline hotel experience, and broad European contact network, is an asset to HMI.
Holding a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Alexandra has accumulated several years of experience organizing major global events such as the preparation of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, the World Cancer Congress 2022, the CosmoProf Exhibition 2017 in Hong Kong, and the TED Conference in Switzerland in 2022. With her profound knowledge of the industry, fluency in English, French, and Russian, and innate communication skills, Alexandra is responsible, within our team, for business development primarily in the public sector and with international associations.
